Zimkhitha Saungweme

Zimkhitha is the Chief People Officer at Discovery Limited. She is a Human Resources Leader with over 25 years' work experience. She has exceptional business maturity, obtained through working for companies that are forces to be reckoned with in the South African business landscape, including Discovery, PPS and MultiChoice. She is a grounded professional with corporate intelligence that serves the companies she is associated with well.

She has deep knowledge of the Healthcare, Financial Services and Insurance industries, and has experience in Retail, Transportation and Entertainment industries. Her extensive involvement on a strategic level enables her to spearhead large scale projects, drive and execute company strategies.

Zimkhitha has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) obtained from De Montfort University, an Information Technology Diploma from Rand Afrikaans University (RAU), and a B Com Business Economics & Industrial Psychology obtained from the University of Fort Hare.

Zimkhitha loves spending quality time with her family, reading and travelling. She leads an active lifestyle and is an avid runner.
