Veliswa Rozani

Veliswa Rozani is the Chief Financial Officer at NMI Durban South Motors (Pty) Ltd. A personable business professional with a successful 20-year career in financial roles within large and fast-paced multinationals and South African organisations. She began her career as a Trainee Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and thereafter worked for Barloworld Power, Microsoft South Africa and Johnson & Johnson.

Veliswa's responsibilities have covered the formulation and control of strategic management and financial plans including full responsibility and accountability for fiduciary and compliance frameworks as well as BBBEE accreditation. She is also responsible for taking an overall business centric approach charting the full integration and interdependency of the KPI framework, acquisitions and divestitures.
She also has experience in finance business transformation.

Veliswa is a motivated CA with the technical expertise and business acumen necessary to translate business requirements and objectives into scalable, highly resilient, successful and sustainable solutions. In her career, she has gained competencies and skills which includes gaining an understand of business drivers to grow revenue and optimize organisational efficiencies.

Veliswa Rozani is a CA (SA) who obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University). She also holds an MBA (Cum Laude) from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2014.

Veliswa serves on the Boards of NMI and its subsidiaries, as well as being a Non-Executive Board Member of iMasFinance Cooperative Limited, where she has served in the Audit Committee and the Finance & Technology Committee.

Veliswa is passionate about mentorship and people development. She believes in lifting other as she rises.
