Nicolene Bruwer is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Aon South Africa (Pty) Ltd, serving on the Board of Aon South Africa and various of its subsidiaries.

Nicolene’s 20 years’ experience spans the insurance industry, hedge funds mining and auditing in South Africa as well as the Cayman Islands. Her responsibilities have covered a broad spectrum of activities including leading strategic initiatives across finance, operations, risk, and compliance.

Nicolene is a CA (SA) who obtained her Bachelor Commerce (Honours) from the University of Pretoria. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as well as the Institute of Directors South Africa.

She enjoys bringing clarity to complex situations through logical thinking. Her natural curiosity drives explorations of new ideas and practical solutions. She is passionate about assisting other to reach their full potential. Nicolene aspires to lead for positive impact in all that she does.
