Join Jan Schubart from the Institute of Loss Adjusters when he deciphers the medical terms in a fun way and how to read medical reports.

Jan Schubart joined the Prudential Assurance Co for a year as an underwriter before beginning loss adjusting with V Lewis and Co in 1965. With the exception of 3 years with the AA Mutual Insurance Co, Jan has effectively been involved in loss adjusting ever since, working for various companies where he ultimately settled at Equity Loss Adjusters with whom he has worked from since 1989.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Loss Adjusters where he has served as a past President and is currently serving as a Director. Jan also holds the designations of ACII, AIISA, Chartered Insurance Practitioner and Fellow of the International Federation of Adjusting Associations. I am also a qualified Basic Life Support paramedic and radio amateur.
