Join COVER, in collaboration with CN&CO on 17 & 18 May 2023 when they will be hosting the two-day main event to address challenges and opportunities that have been highlighted in their three sessions held over the last three months.

Over the last few months a few hundred insurance technology experts and other technology afficionados from across the globe attended several round table discussions with the aim of bringing the Insurtech and Artificial Intelligence (AI) hype back to the fundamentals of insurance.

The first session saw PPS (Professional Provident Society) CEO Izak Smit delivering the keynote presentation, setting out the fundamentals of successful insurance. Setting the scene, Izak’s first statement was: “Most financial services businesses will say they are applied IT businesses. If the tech sneezes, the business gets a cold”. In the next session addressing the challenges that the insurance industry faces, Craig Olivier, Genasys Technologies Co-founder and group CTO presented the keynote. Craig mentioned six main challenges of which social disruption and especially changing client expectations related to technology innovations, provide fantastic opportunities.

No business uses one piece of technology to run their business end-to-end, creating serious integration challenge," highlighted Jen Mckay, Director of Linktank in The final session of the buildup to the main event.
