Annually Munich Re compiles the Tech Trends Radar to give guidance on technological innovations that should be used in insurance and how to distinguish concrete recommendations from market hype. Additionally we explain which technical trends have an direct or indirect influence on the insurability of risks. With an exponential mindset, we will address the latest insurance-relevant tech trends in 2021, explain the changes in health/industrial robotics and automation, and present the benefits of machine learning business cases. Of course, we will also explain what significant changes we see in embedded insurance and digital ecosystems.
