Join us as we celebrate our anniversary and stand a chance to win prizes

Webmaster

This October, the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) will be marking yet another major milestone as we celebrate more than five decades of service to our members and partners.

The primary responsibility of the institute is the advancement of members and the industry through knowledge and skills development while promoting the highest level of standards and ethics within our industry.

The South African insurance industry is in many ways on par with developed economies in terms of product sophistication and innovation, financial stability and robustness of systems and processes and as the institute, we are proud to have played a role in ensuring that our industry can be counted among the best in the world.

Our members, through self-development, in-house training and indeed through participation in various programmes offered by the institute, have ensured that continuous skills and knowledge advancement remains a top priority.

The institute's achievements are made possible in every sense by our members. Industry growth and prosperity is a reflection of growth by its members, and the achievements of the institute are in essence the achievements of our members.

When we celebrate milestones, in essence, we are celebrating our members' achievements and we therefore see it fitting to place members firmly at the centre of events such as this.
