Experience: Unathi is seasoned Risk & Insurance practitioner, who started his insurance journey as a Commercial Underwriter at Mutual & Federal (now Old Mutual Insure) in CT back in 2004.

His experience spans from Commercial and Corporate underwriting, Corporate Claims Management, Risk Broking, Relationship/Stakeholder Management and Risk Financing specialising in Cell Captive structures and Self-funded insurance programmes.

Unathi was a top 6 finalist in the Insurance Apprentice in 2016. He is currently a member of the Professional Standards Committee and Membership Committee of the Insurance Institute of SA (IISA).
