Asanda is passionate and actively involved in efforts to professionalise the insurance industry. She sits on the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee. In 2021, Asanda graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree through the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Business School.

She simultaneously completed a short program titled: 'Women Who Lead', through the North-West University (NWU) Business School, with distinction. Effective 1 October 2021, Asanda started a new role as a Client Executive (Mining and Public Entities) in the Risk Management Practice division at Marsh. She hopes the new opportunity will afford her growth and expertise in order continue providing sound insurance solutions to clients.

Living up to her mantra: "Beautiful butterfly, lift as you rise'', she continues to mentor young professionals in hopes that they will become successful in their journeys and become proud ambassadors for the industry".
