The IISA Youth Accelerator Programme is a transformative initiative focused on equipping unemployed learners with the technical insurance skills necessary to enhance their employability. By combining both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, this program aims to prepare participants for successful careers in the insurance industry.

Program Highlights:
  • Duration: The program runs for 12 months, providing an intensive and comprehensive training experience on both short term and life businesses.
  • Qualification: Upon completion, participants will earn an NQF 5 qualification in insurance, significantly boosting their professional credentials.
  • Membership: Graduates will also obtain IISA Professional Membership, opening doors to a wealth of industry resources and networking opportunities.
  • Competency Requirements: The curriculum covers five critical competency requirements as legislated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), ensuring compliance and industry relevance.
  • Digital Transformation courses: In addition to insurance-specific training, the program includes an introduction to essential digital transformation competencies, preparing learners for the modern workforce.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • A matric and post-matric qualification is a requirement to apply.
