Purpose of the role
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance
Key Functions
Key Performance Areas Outcomes
Finance management Debt collection
Maintaining the debtors age analysis
Preparing monthly billing schedules
Reconciliation of client accounts
Resolving and following up on queries
Assisting with annual audits
Experience working with a large debtors' book with over 500 accounts
Providing support to the Junior Accountant and Executive Manager: Finance and Operations
Reporting Reporting on monthly invoicing and long outstanding debtors
Membership management All annual invoicing for individual, bulk and corporate membership
Allocate daily payments to outstanding invoices
Key Performance Areas Outcomes
Audit management Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit
Implement and monitor implementation of internal and external audit findings
Governance and internal efficiencies Compliance with legislation
Observe corporate policies and procedures
All other business related functions Conduct any business related function
Education & experience
Grade 12 (with 2-4 years' experience)
Post Grade 12 qualification in Finance or Credit Management
Degree/ Diploma in finance would be an added advantage
Preferable industry Insurance Industry
