Peter Todd is a past President of the Insurance Institute and has served on the Board since 2013. Peter has over 25 years insurance industry experience, both in South Africa and abroad, and has held several senior positions in the South African insurance industry and served on numerous insurance company boards both in an executive and non-executive capacity.

Besides his experience in South Africa, Peter has managed operations and served on the Boards of insurance companies across Africa. His international experience extends to Asia Pacific where he spent six years in Singapore overseeing operations in seven countries across Asia.

Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce (LLB) degree from the University of Cape Town and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 1996. Peter is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa.
