Gari Dhombo serves as Head of National Sales and Distribution for DFC-Business Insure, a business he established end of 2019 and is responsible for designing and implementing the sales strategy for Discovery Financial Consultants (DFC)- Business Insurance which includes retail collaboration on Business Insurance within the Discovery group.

Gari joined Discovery late 2019 having previously established his own brokerage Compsure Insurance consultants . Prior to that Gari worked for Alexander Forbes where he was the founding MD of Alexander Forbes Insurance(AFI) , before assuming the role of Managing Executive-Retail Sales and Distribution for Alexander Forbes Group.

Gari serves on a number of boards both within and outside South Africa and was previously Deputy Chair of SAIA
