IISA - The Insurance Institute of South Africa

A COP qualification is a statutory minimum requirement for all agents and others engaged in insurance in Botswana.

Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) offers the following qualifications, utilizing knowledge material from the IISA:-

• Certificate of Proficiency (COP)
• Intermediate Certificate in Business studies (ICIBS)

BAC is the official registration centre for the courses leading to the above qualifications, for everyone in Botswana.   Prospective students who wish to pursue these courses may register through BAC at any time of the year.

Prospective students who want to be tutored by BAC for examinations must complete college enrolment at a time when the college opens for enrolment.   These students will be registered with the BAC for qualification purposes.

Self tutoring students must pick up BAC registrations forms at the college and return them with P1, 400.  The amount is inclusive of BAC registration, examination registration and course material.

Prospective students who wish to be tutored for examinations by BAC will pay a nominal fee to collect a BAC enrolment form.   Once accepted the students would be required to pay P3,900  for tuition, BAC examination registration and course material.
